Terms of service

Agreement
These terms govern your use of Affina, a Shopify app operated by lunalink.ai (“we”, “us”) and published under the lunalink.ai brand. By installing or using Affina you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, uninstall the app.
What Affina is
Affina adds AI product recommendations to your Shopify product and cart pages, and reports lift against a real holdout. You retain ownership of your products, your store, and the data Affina reads to operate. Recommendations are surfaced in your theme on your approval — you enable the blocks in the theme editor.
Billing
Billing is handled by Shopify under the plan you select on install or upgrade. All plans include a 30-day free trial. Shopify processes payment and we never see or store your card details. If you cancel, you keep access for the remainder of the billing period; nothing is auto-renewed once you uninstall.
Acceptable use
Use Affina for your own legitimate store. Don't use it to attempt to extract or copy our service, to interfere with other users, or to make abusive volumes of requests beyond your plan's stated limits. We may suspend access if Affina is used in a way that violates these terms or harms the service.
Recommendations
Affina's recommendations are produced by a model that learns from your store. They're a suggestion, not a guarantee — we don't guarantee any specific sales lift, conversion rate, or revenue outcome. The dashboard reports measured incremental revenue against a 10% holdout once there's enough traffic.
Service availability
We aim to keep Affina running, but the service is provided “as is” without uptime warranties. Planned maintenance and provider incidents (Shopify, our hosting provider, our AI provider) can interrupt the service. We don't accept liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days before the claim arose.
Privacy
Our handling of data is described in the Affina privacy policy. By using Affina you also accept that policy.
Changes
We'll post any changes to these terms on this page and update the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms; if you don't, uninstall the app.
